Really quiet these days... haven't heart anything from you for about one month.
Currently there's no work to support the 1200p ... These days there's quite no
work at all... Marco and me are quite busy with our jobs. Hope it'll get
better...

Well. Well I think that people was on holydays but this seems to be not
true. Are there any information available about the chipset on 1200p
in order that I try to make the driver? I am a well C programmer and
I have many years or experience in Linux.

Cheers.

Well, I think the 1200p is the same scanner like one model coming from Plustek.

Which Windows95 driver does your scanner use? vmxd.vxd or vmxd2.vxd?

If it's the second one, then your scanner uses a chipset called E3 by Primax.
They have it in ther later 9600, D600...

Have you looked thru our chipset-table on the driver homepage? Is there
something looking similar?

cu.

btw. Marco has described the way he traced the parallel port - this way we got
the Colorado Direct working. He also did some tracing with the E3 ASIC, but no
further work.

The specs aren't really helping... we cannot somply create a driver from these
specs - tracing the data is still needed...

Damn!
