incompatible versions of libtiff?
From: Hector Garcia ####@####.#### Date: 18 Nov 1999 19:16:24 -0000 Message-Id: <XFMail.991118121308.hector@correo.scouts-es.org> Hi all I have a question I have recently change to Debian 2.1 and I have install ii libtiff3g 3.4beta037-5.1 tiff runtime library [libc6] ii libtiff3g-dev 3.4beta037-5.1 tiff development files [libc6] I have found that I cannot use the new driver, but I cannot even use the old one. Actually I can use both, but the scanned image is only a bunch of colored lines nowhere close to the image I was scanning. What version of libtiff are you all using? Is this libtiff3g enough or do I have to install another? If I need other where can I find it (there is no other tiff related package in DebianĀ“s CD) Thanks ---------------------------------- Fecha: 17-Nov-99 Hector Garcia Alvarez Secretario de Scouts-es http://www.scouts-es.org ---------------------------------- | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

It has to be the lib because I have the same problem with 0.2 that with 0.9 and the command I use is the example from the README which it worked before I changed to a Debian system and and therefore changed the libs. Anyhow if you tell me where can I download the correct libs from I will compile them and try them and I4ll tell you what happen.
