Hi there,

My primax_scan works fine. However, I have some
questions about how it accesses the parallel
port. Does primax_scan talk directly to the
port, or does it use the parport module? I ask
because I have daisy-chained a ZIP drive off the same
port and it also works fine, but _not_ simultaneously
with scanning: scanning and drive access conflict
horribly.

Glad to here the driver is working fine.

We're accessing the parallel port directly.

Ever tried this under Windows ?! ,-(()

Answer: scanner also doesn't work when my printer is doing its work (in Win95/NT).
That's caused by the scanner design and not a software problem...
