primax: Thread: I cant get working my D600

 I have tried the woody package (0.93beta3) and the CVS version, 
 but allways I have this responses:
 
 Port 378 is switched to EPP-Mode
 
 :-(
 Scanner did not switch to EPP mode.....not compatible?
 
 and
 
 Port 378 is switched to EPP-Mode
 
 :-(
 Scanner did not switch to EPP mode.....not compatible?
 Port 378 is switched to initial mode
 
 I have tried diferent bios configurations, and i have tried to change the code as you tolk o some messages, but it doesn't work.
 
 Perhaps my bios is incompatible?
 
 Where can I find a Colorado-D600 howto or something similar?

Hi,

The problem could really be your bios.
But there is a trick to get it work.
Most parports are set (in  the bios) to ECP/EPP.
Change this to only epp and give it a try.
