Hello,

The pxscan is written for a 36-bit version of the scanner while the
primax-scan is for the 30-Bit version. But there is a sane version of to
the 30 bit version written by Andre Herms ####@####.####

So you must look whats your scanner is.

For the 30 bit d600 the latest SANE version was written by
####@####.#### but I do not know if this version is uploaded to
sourceforge. Please contact him.

The 30 Bit Version primax-scan needs an activated EPP-mode to the
printer port (Bios-setup). I do not know how the Sane version is
handling it but the primax-scan is able to switch an activated ECP-mode
to EPP.
While the windows Version is running under SPP as well as EPP.
