This version has a gui trace viewer. (The trace viewer is NOT the waveform
viewer that was being discussed a few weeks ago. The waveform viewer still
doesn't exist). I would classify the trace viewer as "still rough around the
edges". It works, but there is still a whole of features lacking. Here's what
it does:

First, to get this to work, I had to rewrite many of the cli trace routines. Now
the trace code has cross reference links to the gui (or if one were so inclined,
the links could easily be made to a module). Whenever the simulation is
interrupted the trace window is update along with all of the other gui windows.

The trace window is a 100 line list with two columns. The first column is the
cycle at which the trace occurred and the second column is the decoded trace
information. The decoded information is identical to the decoded info you get
when you issue the `trace' command from the cli.

Here are the features that are lacking:

-- Filtering. Right now, everything is displayed in
     the trace window.

-- Searching. You simply can't do it.

-- History. The trace buffer maintained by gpsim is rather large.
the gui only exposes a tiny portion of it without an option
     to scroll back.

-- Color coding. E.g. allow the user to choose the colors for
     certain types of traces.

-- Cross references to the other parts of the gui (e.g. clicking
on traced instructions can move the focus of the asm browser).
