   But when I run in the dir bin (……./microwin/src/bin)  as following
: ./nano-X & ./nanowm& ./demo2. It can not display the Chinese properly.

HZK_FONT_DIR             = "fonts/chinese"



Set HZK_FONT_DIR to an absolute, not relative, path.
It is failing because it's looking for src/bin/fonts/chinese,
which doesn't exist (it's src/fonts/chinese).
