I've been playing around with the gain_levels in the config file.
The backends calibrates and sets the gainlevels to 11, 12, 12 (RGB). If I set
them manually to eg. 20, 40, 40 the scanned image starts to look acceptable
(still ugly, but at least it scans all 3 colours :-).
I will play a bit further with these options, trying to find correct levels
for my scanner (and hopefully for most other LiDE 20 owners).
