I get a blank screen with a mouse cursor on it. I cannot move the
cursor (I'm using the SERMOUSE driver) and I cannot exit the screen.

This is likely that the mouse and serial driver aren't compatible or
setup properly. See drivers/mou_ser.c. Exit with Break key
(ctrl-pause).

prints out some lines of text from the process I'm running with nano-X
and then hangs there. Any ideas?

Run nano-X and other apps using supplied src/*.sh file, there's issues
with the shell that cause this.

Greg
