: Now the problem is that I am not able to control the
: screen's (nano window's) width and height. There by it appears
: like a rectangular strip on my console.

Sounds like something's fishy with your kernel framebuffer
driver. Microwindows gets its X and Y resolution from the
framebuffer, in drivers/scr_fb.c.

You can run nano-x with -x# and -y# parameters, this will
override only the width and height of the root screen.

 I need the nano window
: to be of a better shape so dat I cud test some of the microwin
: demo's. Now I'm not able to run microwin demos.

What happens when you run them? If they run but look funny,
you've got problems with your framebuffer driver, or how
it reports the size and bpp to Microwindows.

Regards,

Greg
