The same with me.
I use FLTK 1.1.7 with nxlib and nano-X.
I do not even bother with run levels (embedded system).
I switch to graphics mode in the boot code, linux thinks it is running
in text mode, and nano-X uses frame buffer not even knowing what
graphics mode is set.
Of course I set the graphics mode to be the same what nano-X expects.

Martin

I am not sure about your image display problem - I assume you have tried
Martins patches from earlier in this thread ? They fixed my problems.
As for widgets, have you tried FLTK ? - www.fltk.org
I am using FLTK on nano-x using linux frame buffer only. You need to
download and build nxlib (from microwindows.org) and then link fltk with
that instead of the X11 headers / librarys. I am using FLTK1.1.7 as I
couldn't get FLTK2 to work but FLTK1 is fine anyway, and it seems pretty
stable. There is even a graphical gui designer (fluid) which lets you
design your gui without writing any code. Its working fine for me on my
arm based system.

Dear all,

I tried using the CVS version but am still getting a few problems with
image displaying. The CVS version (downloaded from the website) does
display white pixels as white but the transparent features of the bmp
files (which was present previuosly) is lost here. Also, the jpg
images are still displayed with white dots all over the image, while
the same image when converted to bmp format(using gimp image editor),
is displayed perfectly, without distortion.

Also can somebody suggest me any pointer to any widget set for the
particular nano-X configuration I am using ( for framebuffer without
using X11 ). I found Tinywidget on the net but the project is no
longer supported. I found a few more widget sets but all of them were
using X11 to start up. So , if I am switching to init level 3 , I am
not able to use the widget set for my application.

Am I missing something here?

Kindly suggest me some poiters to solve this problem.

Thanks and regards.
