Hi,

I am using loadable PCF fonts but I don't think they are being displayed with the correct spacing - the characters appear too close to each other so that they tend to run into each other. This makes the text hard to read.

I am using FLTK and the fonts display nicely under X. The same fonts copied to nano-X take up less width becasue there are no gaps between the characters. The built-in font Helv 11 looks much better since there are always gaps between the characters.

Has anyone noticed this before or could give me a pointer as to where I would look to find the cause ?

Thanks if anyone can...
Darren
