I think I've confirmed that whatever Tk uses for setting colors doesn't 
get along with nxlib....

Even if I set the widget to black and white it still comes out black, 
with no detail.  Here's the output:

I'm not really sure where to look; something is hosing the color 
translation.  "regular" X11 apps (my test app which draws a line) work fine.

Where do I look?
