Well success is a slow process... but I'm getting there... slowly.
I've managed to build a kernel with FB support. Any idea why Virtual
Terminals needs to be enabled for the FB to be compiled in?
Following the instructions in the tools HOW-TO I'm now trying to cross
compile the Microwindows demos to run on my Everex Freestyle. I set ARCH to
LINUX-MIPS and the compilation ran through OK, but when transferred I
couldn't run the binary. Does anyone have a pre-written config file for MIPS
that I can 'borrow' to test my system is building correctly?
Also changing the sample 'ramdisk' image isn't that easy as it's full, so
you need to build a new one and copy contents across. There is no MAKEDEV
script so I wrote one, but had difficulty setting the links. Again anyone
got one, or should I post mine for 'correction'?
