Hey all,

i been rather busy for the last (few) months and didn't
had time to follow (or contribute (with complains :-) )
to the RTEMS framebuffer "project". I am just wondering
how things going and if there is anything solid yet (Rosimildo ?).

I also saw some ppl talking about a VNC viewer for MicroWindows,
wich sounds interesting, altough not exactly something i could
use in a project at the moment. It made me think about VNC a bit
more and i am wondering how hard it would be to create a VNC server
for RTEMS so that MicroWindows can use it as frame buffer on devices
that don't have real display hardware. That way testing of MicroWindows
on RTEMS and different CPU should be easier. And it gives some
interesting
posibilities, like giving emmebeded system like for example in
industrial
controlers a GUI without actual display, just point yer laptop with a
VNC viewer
at it and there is your GUI.
