: i been rather busy for the last (few) months and didn't
: had time to follow (or contribute (with complains :-) )
: to the RTEMS framebuffer "project". I am just wondering
: how things going and if there is anything solid yet (Rosimildo ?).

I think Rosimildo just took a one-month vacation. However,
the latest cut of RTEMS works with the latest cut of Microwindows.

i am wondering how hard it would be to create a VNC server
: for RTEMS so that MicroWindows can use it as frame buffer on devices
: that don't have real display hardware

It's considerably more work than creating a VNC client. And,
some graphical application would have to be running (through
Microwindows to a memory-only screen). So the only thing that's
missing is the physical LCD. This may use more ram and be more
work than just running an HTML-like interface that a web browser
to get at.

Regards,

Greg
