A couple of important points here:

A - I believe that the agenda apps are based on FLTK -- assuming they
are using straight FLTK and not illegally dipping down into the
graphics engine, it would take us about half a day to get them running
on Microwindows.

B - Nano-X and Microwindows work well on the two most popular VR
processors that i know of, the 4122 and the 4181.

C - At this time, I don't believe that we will have any PDA apps emerge
that run directly on top of X - in fact, if somebody does that, it would
be very bad for interchanging applications. The only way to do it right
is to use a toolkit, and the #1 toolkit at this point is FLTK. GTK is
an option, but they need to develop a better and much smaller embedded
version to make it viable. An embedded TK/TCL is also a possibility,
but once again, it isn't small enough. Whatever toolkit wins the race
for embedded dominance, you can be sure that it will be ported to
Nano-X. In fact, Nano-X can't survive unless we support the worlds
popular tookkits.
