Nano-X and X are very compatible, so I doubt you would encounter much
trouble with that during the port. But, I would assume that it would be
a reasonable effort to port the whole Tcl/Tk toolkit, just judging by
the size.
We had considered Tk/Tcl once before, but it was pointed out that Tk/Tcl
was a little bloated and big for embedded use, and it has been kind of
ignored
to this point.
But having said that, I also support any effort to bring Microwindows to
the people, and getting a Tk/Tcl port would be a great step. Take a
look at it and see what kind of effort you are facing, and report back.
If we can get it ported to Nano-X on the desktop, then we can start
cutting parts out for the PDA world.
