I have _finally_ got the Microwindows CVS up and running, and
will use it from now on so that my latest source will always be
available, since it's been taking a bit long between releases.
Currently, my version of 0.89pre8 is imported, which features
automatic portrait mode startup/switching (run nano-X -A),
stretchblit driver entry point, nxroach (more bugs!), background
pixmap stretch blit (for nxfreecell), and other additions.
The current CVS does not contain the many patches I have received,
and I will be adding them over the next few days. Afterwards,
I will release 0.89pre8. There is still a bit of work to do with
regards to the dynamic portrait mode switching, since all in-core
offscreen pixmaps have to be rotated to the new portrait mode,
and this entails writing quite a few rotation blits. It'll be worth it
though, try running ./nxkbd.sh and moving the cursor to different
sides of the screen. The portrait mode switching won't require
server or application restarts, so it's cooler than the Trolltech
implementation...
Let me know of any CVS difficulties.
