Hi,
I was puzzled about framebuffer, and I have several problems. My
platform is intel x86, and I have matrox card in this pc. Also, I use
nano-X. I have several problems as followings:
1. now, I can open /dev/fb0(because I have already rebuilt linux kernel
to support framebuffer).
but I don't how to use it to display. For example, where can I chose
video mode, bpp etc.? ioctl() can do a lot of things, but I do't know
how to use it in detail. Is there any references?
2. why don't I have fbset program? I can't run fbset.
3. why don't I have fb.modes in /etc directory?
