What microwindows version are you using and what does line 928 say? In 
microwin-aph the only two lines in devimage.c that mention fp are 
commented out, and I know for a fact that PNG support works OK as it's 
used extensively by the breakout game (all the graphics are PNG because 
it's the only format that provides an alpha channel).
