It seems that your version of SDL is an older version.
I contributed code to the latest version of SDL
that does not require that parameter. You
can ./configure without it if you are running
Microwindows with SCREEN_PIXTYPE=MWPF_TRUECOLOR0888
in Microwindows' config file.
Otherwise pick up the latest SDL version. (may be CVS)
