Hi all,

we are planning a new product with an Coldfire 5272 Processor and TFT 800x600 Display. We have some discussions about the right way.
The first way is, do use a framebuffer supported by an FPGA and the second solutions is to use an graphic controller.

What is the advantage and disadvantage of each solution ?

For which graphic controller chip exist already an Screen Device driver ?

Best Regards

Dieter Ripp
