No.  The screen size is retrieved from the linux
kernel screen driver.  Look at the code in drivers/scr_fb.c,
you'll see the ioctl() call which returns a structure which
indicates the currently set size of the framebuffer.  Then
Microwindows uses those values to set the mouse (ts)
boundaries as well as the root window clipping region.
