Hi Jaeger,
First thanks for responding. To be more specific, I have tried a bunch
of stuff but for my current configuration: I have sane-backends and
sane-backends-devel 1.0.8-5 via RH RPM's. Am totally confused as to if
I need to remove these and rebuild from a Tar ball or just need to
install the driver. By the way I have already tried removing them and
rebuilding. But could not even get started for some reason. I have
sane-backends-1.0.9.tar.gz and pustek-module-o_42_9.tar.gz downloaded.
Like the Plustek-USB.tx says, I unpacked the sane-backends to my
working directory and then it says to goto sane-1.0.8/sane-backends.
There is no / sane-backends so assumed it meant /backend. Went there
and unpacked pustek-module-o_42_9.tar.gz. Next it says to d a
./configure and when I do I get a : bash: ./configure: No such file or
directory. So that is where I am right now.
I noticed that i have a /etc/sane.d/pulstek.conf file, is it possible
that I just need to configure what I have?
Thanks again
Roger
