Hey,
I will usethe Plustec OpticPro 4800P on Mandrake 10.
In my dll.conf is only one line:
plustek_pp
This is my plustek_pp.conf:

This Packages are installed:

xsane-0.92-2mdk
As ROOT I can connect the scanner (600P/6000P:parport0) with xsane (not
with xscanimage), but I get only colored ord black and white lines.
As normal user I can not connect the scanner (no scanner found)
