I think that's becoming an FAQ.
We use the LZW compression algorhythm which isn't supported by newer versions
of the libtiff (mainly on RedHat based distributions).
It's quite simple to solve this problem:
in primax_scan.c search for "COMPRESSION_LZW" and replace it with 
"COMPRESSION_NONE".
