: What is the current license for microwindows and are there any problems
: with using GPL stuff for microwindows?

Microwindows is dual licensed under the MPL (www.mozilla.org)
and the GPL. The license agreement allows developers
to use the MPL, or alternatively, the GPL. This was done so that
the Microwindows project could be used by developers working
on devices under non-disclosure, where a proprietary device driver
may be required to be interfaced with. The MPL requires that
any modifications to source files from the distribution be returned,
but new files can be kept proprietary. The GPL requires that all
modifications be returned.

There's no problem using Microwindows with GPL projects.

Regards,

Greg
