Yep!
I found kaffe very good to , and all the stuff and design around, but I heard,
that the other ports, like win32 and dos are not available, because they fall
under the custom license and this means: You have to pay for it. So I thought,
it would not be really GPLd. Maybe I was wrong.
I had a look at this kaffe JVM years ago, with BISS framework, and found it all
very good. So, if we could get it running on mwin, and can distribute this, all
will be ok. But will this be seen on the transvirtual homepage? Would they
redistribute our port? Or is this again the custom license?
An (maybe) alternative or just other project could be the waba virtual machine.
It's very small and has a subset (even compatible) of the JVM Opcodes present.
This could be good for very small devices, even I found kaffe more satisfying.
