Ok, that sounds like an annoying problem.  This is when you are typing and 
deleting charaters in a text box, right?

I would start by looking at the Fl_Output_.cxx file.  The text box keystrokes 
are handled here, and we are probably not accounting for mulitple byte 
charaters here.  

Check it out, and let us know what you find.
