I am sure that X is alot worse at handing this stuff than we are, which is 
probably why they are using XUTF8libs in the other version.  They just took 
FLTK and added a helper library on to it.

We can modify the widgets to handle multiple bytes, and if the fltk-utf8 code 
can't help us there, then we should do it on our own.
