Thanks for the pointers, I've grabbed a copy of your code. I'll have a 
look through it and hopefully I'll be able to make use of some of it 
(don't you just love the GPL....). I was also looking at GnuBoy.

I'm not sure I fully understand the principle of Nano-X 'giving' a frame
buffer. I assume that requires that the Nano-X server is itself running 
on the frame buffer, and passes control of part (or all) of the screen 
to another application.

My initial thoughts where to remove the requirement of using a framebuffer,
as you may know from my previous postings I always seem to get involved 
with framebuffer or not discussions.....


I thought GnuBoy managed to cope with much slower screen refreshes, I'll
just have to see what happens.
